A Wildflower Adventure

We went on a wildflower adventure today. We headed up to Brenham (Washington County, Texas), where we saw a few along the roadside, but not very many at places where I could pull over to take the pictures that I wanted to take. We did find a few in front of the Giddings Stone Mansion along with some beautiful roses.

There were zillions of them in Austin County near Bellville in both directions and in the median.  I settled for the roadside flowers because it is too dangerous to try to walk over to the median, even though it had a tremendous amount of flowers. I don't need to have "Flattened for a Bluebonnet" engraved on my name rock. :)

Here are a few of my favorite shots from today.

Isn't Heavenly Father a wonderful landscape artist? :)

Have a blessed day, y'all!

    1. Thanks, Barbara! It was a beautiful day all around. There were some beautiful red velvety roses near the white ones, but the pictures didn't turn out very well for those.
