We have been granted a reprieve, of sorts. While we will still be helping our friend for the next three weeks, another person has come into the mix to help, too. This will make things a bit less hectic for David and me overall. Please pray for this other helper. She is recovering from a recent surgery. Thank you.
This also means that we should be able to make our usual weekly posts, uninterrupted, though our responses to comments may be delayed a bit.
Although I know there are some difficult moments ahead of us in this, I am feeling so much better about it. Thank you all for the prayers and hopes and good wishes. They have definitely helped!

More prayers answered. I hope this other friend does not overdo it, though. Healing takes a while.
ReplyDeleteI hope that she'll be careful, too. At first I understood it to be back surgery, but it was apparently gall bladder surgery. Either way, she needs to be careful.
