    I am thankful for everyone's safety up here today because we are having freezing rain!! The kids are home from school which means no bus driver has to take unnecessary risks today, and that's a good thing.

      I'm sorry for the freezing rain, but very glad the kids don't have to be on a bus or going to school in it. It is scary to think the bad things that can happen in that set up. Down here it is a rarity to have a freezing rain, but if any cold event happens, the nutty drivers get nuttier. Can you imagine a school bus going 70mph in a freezing rain? Scary!
