Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6
The unthankful heart… discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings! – By Henry Ward Beecher
What are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for a granny who loved to cook and did a great job of it. We were always welcome at her dinner table. Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday because we would be at Granny's house. When I was a kid, I knew where I would be for that day. There were never any questions about where we'd spend Thanksgiving. I knew what we would be having and who we would be having it with. It was always an exciting adventure with this particular group of family members. Please be sure to visit David over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Your Granny sounds amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank you. She was definitely amazing and a one-of-a-kind little spitfire of a woman. The first time David met my granny, she threatened to beat his behind. haha This was many years before he met me. :)
