Our Marine came to me at a very important time in my life. I had just lost our Dorian Lee, stillborn at 20 weeks gestation. I was in major emotional turmoil, feeling like a failure as a wife, a mother...as a woman in general. I wanted, needed a baby to fill my empty arms and broken heart. Heavenly Father sent me a miracle and we named him David, which is Hebrew and means "Beloved". It is also his father's name.
Here are a few photos from our journey.

What a handsome young man.
ReplyDeleteYes, he most definitely is. :)
DeleteI am sorry you lost a baby. You look adorable in your pregnancy photo and your son was a cutie.I have seen recent photos and see he is a handsome young man now.
ReplyDeleteThank you, on all counts. I know that our babies are in a much better place, a place of no pain, no sickness, no sadness, and one day we'll see them again. That is the only way that I've endured these things.
DeleteThank you regarding the young man that Davey has become. I think he is pretty handsome, too. Heavenly Father really blessed us with the children that He gave us. :)
