Katy's Brain Surgery

A long-time friend of mine, Katy Moffitt, has a brain tumor. Thankfully, at this point, her tumor is benign. However, it is causing other problems, such as hearing loss and loss of balance. It has become necessary for them to perform surgery to remove it.

A fundraiser has been set up on the GoFundMe website to help Katy with the expenses of this surgery, which is scheduled for April 26. Please visit GoFundMe by clicking Katy's Brain Tumor Surgery to visit the fundraiser page. There is also a link in my sidebar.

I am also making headbands to sell as a fundraiser for Katy. As I make them, they will be listed on our Etsy shop as well as my Instagram feed. Thank you for looking!

    Definitely prayers for Katy that the tumor will be successfully removed and she will be fully healed!

    Suzanne, I'm glad to hear Katy's tumor is benign, but I know the problems that come from such tumors can be scary and dangerous. We'll be praying for her to make a full recovery and I hope the headband sells are a success on her behalf. That's very thoughtful of you.

      Thank you, Cathy. The prayers are appreciated very much. It is very upsetting when you aren't able to do the things that you are used to doing, like seeing properly and hearing and just being able to stand upright without falling over. :(
