Unknown Future

Corrie Ten Boom said that. She was one tough cookie. She endured so much, lost so much, but through it all, she did not lose her trust in Heavenly Father. If someone enduring the concentration camps and the Holocaust, the loss of family, and further torture can remain strong and trusting, who am I to not?

No matter what I am presently going through, no matter what I have endured that got me to this point of not trusting, there is always someone else that has gone through so much more, fought through it, and triumphed in the end. No matter what my future holds, I know that He has it covered. He has it under control even when I do not.

  1. Thank you for a much needed reminder. I know it in my head, but sometimes don't feel it in my heart.

    1. You're welcome, Cathy. I'm having trouble keeping my head and heart inline with each other at times, too.

I hope that you have a blessed new year!
