QUESTIONS

Would you rather sit in front of a fireplace with a roaring fire, soak in a lovely bath, or spend free time on your computer?

David and I both vote for a fireplace in front of a hot tub built for two.

Milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

Both!

Have you ever tried a recipe from a blog or Pinterest?

Yes. Some time back, I tried a recipe for potpies cooked in a muffin pan. They were a hit with the hubby. :) I would put the link here, but I can't seem to find it. I was sure that I had pinned it to my Food Ideas board on Pinterest.

Do you have a guest room? If not, do you have a spare room that you use for something other than a bedroom (sewing room, office, craft area, etc)?

No, we do not have a guest room. Any room that isn't currently occupied by a human for sleeping is being used for storage, pets, and the kids' computer room.

Is your hair curly, straight, or something in between?

My hair is naturally curly, but is more wavy than curly these days. David has a little wave to his hair. Both of us have hair that is waving good-bye!

  1. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only female who has hair that is waving goodbye. Gotta love this season of life! :)

    1. If we didn't, all we'd do is cry, I think. And, I'm doing a lot of that lately, too. OY! Anemia is the culprit for me (though I am sure that menopause is in the mix, too). Anemia is wrecking my fingernails, too. Now would be the best time for me to have the chicken pox if I hadn't already had them, because I sure couldn't scratch a thing if I had to!

  2. Hi Suzanne! I would certainly choose the fireplace too. We hope to put one in this year, but I have to get some prices first. Here's hoping!

I have absolutely straight hair, and spent a lot of money on perms in my youth. I thought I looked nice, but in photos, maybe it was a little TOO curly! LOL!

I hope all your healthy issues have cleared up? I know it's been a while since I've been here, but I have been praying for you and your husband.
    Happy Wednesday!

    1. Thank you for the prayers, Ceil. They are appreciated very much. The health issues are much the same for me. I have an appointment on Saturday in the city. David's foot seems to be back on a good track for the most part. Home Health comes out every week to check on it. The infection seems to be gone.

I hope that you'll be able to get your fireplace. That would be wonderful.

I have only had a couple of perms in my life. One thing about my hair is that it holds onto treatments (perms, dyes, etc.) far longer than is normal for most people. What should last maybe a month or two lasts well over a year in my hair. Or rather, it used to be that way. Now, my hair isn't even holding onto my head. :)

    1. Thanks. I couldn't resist checking out your blog based solely on the name. How cute. :)

  4. Waving back to you! :) I like a fireplace. The hot tub would be a great addition.

    1. I think that fireplaces are really pretty. One house that I visited years ago had one that was open to both the kitchen and the sitting room. It was really nice.

Maybe one day both of us will have both the hot tub and the fireplaces. :)
