Monday Quiz About Me

Acting Balanced

Questions:

1. What is your favorite pair of shoes?

My all-time favorite pair of shoes was my suede boots. They came to just above my ankles and were the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had. The seams started coming apart; I sewed them back together. I didn't want to let them go. Well, there's only so many times that you can sew a pair of shoes back together before there's no point in it anymore. I sure miss those shoes!

My current favorite pair of shoes is a black pair of sandals with a very pink liner on the toe strap.

2. Do you get embarrassed easily?

YES! I always have been easily embarrassed. I am a very shy person, so I guess it just comes with the territory.

3. What makes you cringe?

The first thing that comes to mind is the way people dress these days. Since when did a bra become outerwear or something that was meant to be seen?

4. July 29th is National Lasagna day... are you celebrating? What kind of lasagna do you prefer?

We celebrated a day early, not realizing that today was going to be Lasagna Day. My favorite lasagna used Prego sauce with the really, really chunky veggies in it. I can't find that sauce anymore and haven't been able to find it in years.

Please answer the following in the comment section!

Bonus Question:

Did your parents wait a long time after they were married to start their family, or did they want to start a family right away? Did you feel the same way about starting your own family?

    1. My mother thought that she was, too, but I'm not so sure that was truly the case. She had lots of hormonal issues that made pinning down due dates pretty much impossible.

I would have been fine becoming pregnant on our honeymoon, but we were instructed to wait. So, we did. We'd been married about a year and a half when our first baby was born. Hey, they didn't say how long to wait. :) I am glad that we didn't wait any longer. My father-in-law died just before our son's first birthday. At least he had that much time with his grandson. Of course, our son doesn't remember his papa, but we can look back fondly and remember how much love they had for each other.
