QUESTIONS

Do you use any type of water filter (pitcher or sink mount)?

No, but we do boil the water. There is a lot of sulfur in the water around here and assorted other ickies. I can't drink the tap water without getting sick, the same with some of the kids, too.

Do you have any tips for staying hydrated in the warmer weather?

All that I can think of is just drinking lots of water, more than the standard recommended daily 64 ounces. Also, don't let yourself get overheated by being out in the extreme heat getting all sweaty.

Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

My hair is naturally curly and drove me mad when I was younger. I couldn't do a thing with it in high school. My daddy told me that when I was a baby it was so curly that you couldn't tell which end was attached. :) Now that I'm older, it isn't nearly as curly as it once was, but it still has its moments.

Are you on top of all the chores/work you do, or are you always running behind?

We are forever behind around here.

If you could sing a song to Wendell, what would it be?

Jingle Bells! It always makes me think of sleighs and horses.

David says that he would sing "Mr. Ed".

  1. I love your song choices for Wendell. Same here with the hair. Way back when I was in high school there weren't all the fancy hair products - just Dippity Do. Lol

    1. Thank you. Even if there had been all the fancy hair products of today back then, my hair still would have been wonky. haha

    1. Thank you. I appreciate my hair now more than I did then. I guess it took losing a lot of it to get that appreciation for it, curly, wonky, or otherwise. My sister always had straight hair and one of my daughters with wavy hair likes to straighten hers with the hair iron. Had I known about those when I was a teenager, I might would have ironed mine, too. It was tempting to try it with the clothes iron, but I resisted the urge. haha

Jingle Bells is a good song to listen to in hot weather. Just the thought of it is cooling!
