Versatile Blogger Award

I was very happy to find in my messages this afternoon that Tami over at Not Just a Hockey Mom has gifted P.S. Annie! with the Versatile Blogger Award.

Winners of this award are to do the following things:

Thank the person that awarded them, list 7 things about themselves, and award 15 freshly discovered blogs with the award and let them know about it.

Seven Things About Suz:

~ I am a Christian.
~ Genealogy is one of my passions.
~ I like to read.
~ I like to visit cemeteries and photograph statuary there.
~ Debbie Macomber's Blossom Street Series is one of my favorite book series.
~ I love to cook.
~ I was doing good with a meat- and dairy-free lifestyle until I had surgery. I fell off the wagon, right back into meat-eater-ville. Bad me. I'm slowly working my way back, very slowly.

Here are 15 blogs, most genealogy related, that I have discovered over the last week:

 1. Right Where We Belong
 2. Olive Tree Genealogy
 3. Who Will Tell Their Stories
 4. Grandma Sonja's Stuff
 5. Genealogy Tip of the Day
 6. AnceStories: The Stories of My Ancestors
 7. Meme-Aholics
 8. Creative Gene
 9. Creative Genealogy
10. Cash Mobs
11. Shades of the Departed
12. The Accidental Genealogist
13. The Joyful Keeper
14. Down Our Country Road
15. Half Past Kissin' Time

Please be sure to visit each of these blogs. I look forward to learning more about each of them myself!

  2. I pretty much do a meat free diet. I don't know if I could do dairy free.
People who don't do genealogy may find taking pictures of cemetery statues morbid, but I get it!!!

    1. How easy is it for you to stay on target with your meat-free diet? What do you do to stay motivated, or have you always preferred not to eat meat?

When I made the changes to my eating habits a couple of years ago, it wasn't so hard to do. I was so sick that I could hardly do more than drink anything, so giving up meat and sweets was no issue. Giving up cheese, although I have dairy intolerances, was the hardest part. It took awhile to give up soft drinks, too, but I did it. Now, everything is back in full force and I'm having to start all over. It is proving to be much more of a challenge this time around.

I'm so glad that somebody out there understands my interest in cemetery statuary. :) I took some angel statue photos today and yesterday and will be editing them soon. I found a genealogy meme called Tombstone Tuesday, which is hosted at GeneaBloggers, http://www.geneabloggers.com/ and I may start posting some of these photos on this blog. Hopefully I won't creep anybody out.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I hope that you have a great day!
