This week's questions:
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for the gifts that Heavenly Father has given me: His Son, the gift of salvation, and the gift of discernment. I am thankful for my husband and the thirty years that we've had as a couple and twenty-seven years that we've had as husband and wife. I am thankful for the children that Heavenly Father has given to us and especially for those that have remained true to family. I am thankful for my parents and for the lessons that they taught me along the way. I am thankful for the years that I had with my grandparents, all four of them, and the unconditional love and shelter they provided for me. Last, but not least, I am thankful for my little zoom-zoom that has safely and economically driven us almost the circumference of the earth since it joined our family in March.
Jellied cranberry or whole berry cranberry?
I prefer the jellied cranberry sauce.
How many will sit at your dinner table Thursday?
There will be five of us here on Thanksgiving: my husband, three of our children, and me.
Would anyone who visits the porch be interested in some type of Christmas card or small gift exchange?
I think that a card swap would be great, but due to some unpleasant financial surprises recently, I don't know that I could participate unless I could give a digital card/gift.
Do you venture out on Black Friday?
Not by choice! We will probably have some merchandising jobs to do that day, though, so we'll have no choice but to go into the fray.
Wishing you a blessed day with family on Thanksgiving Day!
