Important Notice!!!

Praise the Lord! After 6 weeks or so of dealing with medical facilities, we are finally back in our own home. David's foot is looking much, much better. There are still a few hurdles to cross, but he'll make it.

Please bear with us as we get adjusted to being home again and get back in the swing of blogging again.

Thank you for continued prayers!!!

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up since YouTube has decided he is unworthy of monetization since his isn't a huge channel, please subscribe to his YouTube channel and watch the videos. That would really make his day! He has to have at least 1000 subscribers and 4,000 minutes of watch time within 30 days in order to be able to keep the monetization option.

Writer's Workshop: So Over It!

Mama’s Losin’ It

Please click the button above to find some really fun prompts!

The prompt that I chose this week is:

Describe something you did with your spouse when you dated, but that you’re now “over”.(Inspired by Scary Mommy)

My husband and I agree on this one: going to movies.

We love watching movies and do so fairly often but, with the exception of Lion King 3D during the Brony meeting a few weeks ago, we haven't actually gone to a movie in a theater in YEARS. We're perfectly happy to sit here in our room and watch them on our own television, pop our own *much cheaper* popcorn, and with being able to hit pause and go to the bathroom when the mood hits without fear of missing some majorly vital part that pulls the whole movie together. AND we can run it back when we do miss something important. Can't do that in the theater.

Hats off to Roku, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon for making movie nights possible at McClendon Villa!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and commenting and also for following my blog.

I can't believe how high going to the movies has gotten. When we took our teens to the above-mentioned Brony meeting a few weeks ago, it was over $100 for the tickets, drinks, and popcorn. I can't imagine being a young person and trying to pay for a date these days. Good grief!
