Five Minute Friday: In Real Life

Five minutes, just writing, no editing...Are you game? Click the button above and join the fun!

This week's Five Minute Friday prompt is: In Real Life

In real life I'm nothing at all like my online self. In real life, I am painfully shy, reclusive, and want to be invisible, but not ignored. Try that one! In real life, my quirks drive my husband nuts. In my not-so-secret life, I dream of being a great photographer/artist/writer. In real life, I can never think of anything to write, I don't know which paint to use with what paper, and my camera hates me.

In real life, sometimes dreams are shattered, sometimes your dreams come true for someone else, and sometimes your dreams come true in the most amazing ways. My dream as a little girl was to some day become a wife and a mother and a school teacher and an architect. Four out of four sounds great to me. Building young adults full of faith taught from the beginning with the man that I love...what could be a better real life than that?

  1. So true. My online self is probably a bit more outgoing than my offline one, too. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I really wonder how different my online and real self are....I must find them somewhat different since I don't let those worlds cross very much. Interesting thoughts....

  3. Interesting how you can really open up online, how there is less fear when you're not face to face with someone. How wonderful to have fulfilled childhood dreams! I like how you say "sometimes your dreams come true for someone else". How hard that can be sometimes! Great post!
