The House Bubble

We went on an adventure today. OK, really, it was work, but it had an exciting surprise along with it.

I love architecture and always have. I love all types, but most especially anything different from a plain, boring rectangle. I am interested in eco-friendly homes of varying designs. I have seen many types online, but very few in person. There are teeny, tiny homes of 200 square feet, yurts, strawbale homes, homes made of recycled materials...so many ways to build an earth- and budget-friendly home.

Today, for the first time, I saw a geodesic dome home. I turned to photograph a gas pump and there it was, in all its round splendor. :)

I think that this type of house is really cool. Hey, no one can make you stand in the corner when there aren't any. :)
