Day 18 – My Wedding

Our wedding was a hundred years ago, a thousand miles away. At least it seems that way. So many things have come into our lives since then.

We have been married almost twenty-seven years, but have known each other almost thirty-one years. We met during my freshman year of high school; he was a senior. Things happened and we fell out of touch, but reconnected just before my junior year.

We had our first date on my sixteenth birthday. We went to see the movie "Endless Love".

Our wedding plans were pretty much taken out of our control, but the important thing is that we survived it and have survived every challenge since.
