I am thankful for the beautiful painting that I saw in the sky yesterday, a white feather brushed across a soft blue sky. I am thankful for more time and slowing down. I am thankful for times of understanding and breaking free. I am thankful for the moment of blessing in the checkout line, a moment shared between strangers, both mamas. I am thankful for mamas, my own and theirs, and the mamas that are sisters and friends.
