Wouldn't it be great if, when we're pregnant or menopausal, it could just stay in the 60s until our bodies are back to normal, so we aren't always on melt mode?

Humidity is horrible. The heat might be tolerable if it weren't so blasted sticky. Sometimes it is like walking into a wall of water, but it isn't raining.

I've only successfully carried one pregnancy through a summer and that baby (our oldest daughter) was born in December. Thankfully, I wasn't so sick with my girls as I was with the boys. The two boys were born in mid-to-late spring. Our baby girl was born toward the end of June, just after it changed from spring to summer. I don't know how my mama stood it being great with child twice, mind you, during a Southern summer! But, you endure what you have to.

I've been tempted to just make the inside of our chest freezer my room until this heat wave is over. haha.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. We've had a lot of wet weather this year (a flood at the end of April and again in May) but we've had a couple of days now with no rain. I hope you get a break in the rain, too, unless your area is actually in a drought. Even then, it is nice to have a dry day where you can go out and do something fun. :) I hope you never have to deal with this kind of heat. I'd rather be cold than be this hot.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
