And, thankfully, there is only one unforgivable sin, according to the Bible.

Speaking of women's rights, I read something very interesting about the beginning of the feminist movement. Those first women in charge of the women's rights movement were very much anti-abortion. I was very surprised to read that. If I can find either of the articles that I have referenced again, I will send you the link. Even if you don't agree with their points of view, it at least makes for some interesting reading.

Have a blessed day. :)Suzanne McClendonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15563562309945754772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113402480415418715.post-43990069360032540492017-01-31T14:20:10.391-06:002017-01-31T14:20:10.391-06:00If the baby could live outside the mother's bo...If the baby could live outside the mother's body, then I agree with you..it is another life. But at the time of most abortions it isn't any more than a "clump of tissue". And there are so many times when not only is abortion necessary but it is the right thing to do. When the person pregnant is a mere child (under the age of 15) or the pregnancy came about because of rape or incest. I would have to look more into the facts "the majority of abortions being done in THIS country being coerced abortions". I don't know that I believe that! Yes, it would be great is the choise were to have responsible sex. But that doesn't always happen. There has been abortion since the beginning of time and it will go on long past the time I am alive. What I want is for women to be able to have a SAFE abortion if it is necessary for her to do so. And I would love to have people quit judging. It is not our place to judge. It is God's place. I went with a very dear friend of mine while she had an abortion. And those people standing outside the clinic screaming obscenities at us will be judged by God too! We need more acceptance and kindness in this world. Thanks for allowing me to have my point of view!Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17406717262345866373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113402480415418715.post-15289914299553596642017-01-30T15:45:07.972-06:002017-01-30T15:45:07.972-06:00Hi Paula. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on thi...Hi Paula. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. It can be a very divisive topic and I hope it won't cause division here even though we have different points of view.

If it were telling a woman what to do with her own body, I might be inclined to agree with you. I don't want anyone telling me what to do with my body either. But, it isn't just the woman's body involved with this "choice". There is another body involved.

It is an unfortunate thing that drives so many girls to make this choice. Did you know that the majority of abortions in this country are coerced abortions? The girls have been made to have them by parents, boyfriends, husbands....and creeps like this Gosnell, who tied girls down and did the abortions anyway, even when they told him they did not want to have an abortion. He didn't just kill pre-born babies, but babies that were born alive and, in many cases, the mother, too.

The "choice" should be to have sex responsibly (or not at all) and for creeps to not be raping/molesting people. If everyone were to take responsibilities seriously, this wouldn't even be an issue at all.

All we can do is pray and speak out so that ALL women, those born and unborn, are protected from the horrors that mankind has put upon them.

Thank you again for sharing your point of view on this. Oh yeah! Before I forget, I have been intending the last few weeks to do more of the Currently...A Life List posts, but time just keeps getting away from me. I've had to go into the city way more times than I'd like and everything fell on us at once. I will try to get one written today or tomorrow and then get back to regularly doing them after February 23rd.

I hope that you have a blessed day. :)Suzanne McClendonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15563562309945754772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113402480415418715.post-17982948240056687812017-01-30T12:22:40.916-06:002017-01-30T12:22:40.916-06:00I fall on the Pro Choice side of the fence.
