Our poor daddies. :(

I agree! I think it deserves a big celebration. I'm definitely planning one for when we get to day 90 without another one. :)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. More often than not, it is pictures of their deceased loved ones. We never saw shirts like this back in South Carolina. I don't know if it is a Texas thing, or a cultural thing, or what, but I think it is nice that they are remembering their loved ones like this.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I think that I only had one like that, but I loved it.

Do you ever look at the pictures and think, "What happened to that girl?"

I can still recognize myself in those pictures, but I don't look anything like the back-then me anymore. It is like I went through a revolving door and a different me came out the other side. The body and the auburn have definitely left my hair. It grayed up something fierce the week that Davey left for the Marines.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Your husband surviving the strokes and not having another is definitely cause for celebration. pilch92https://www.blogger.com/profile/12263559408792146826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113402480415418715.post-4799796722196681732016-07-30T12:10:24.539-05:002016-07-30T12:10:24.539-05:00You reminded me that a lot of my students wear dea...You reminded me that a lot of my students wear dead celeb t-shirts (Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Elvis, Tupac, etc).Kwizgiverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02030855903021576354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113402480415418715.post-56877913950746139612016-07-30T11:12:32.641-05:002016-07-30T11:12:32.641-05:00I look at my photos from the same years as yours a...I look at my photos from the same years as yours and I can hardly recognize myself. Isn't it exciting when that happens?

We haven't gotten a letter from Davey in a long time. We got several when he was in boot camp. He doesn't get most of the things that we mail to him now that he is on base in Japan. His birthday was back in May and he still hasn't gotten the card we sent him. Thankfully, we have Messenger and can keep in touch with him that way for now.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
